Today earthquake in pakistan was recorded by measuring team

In Pakistan, a earthquake measuring 5.4 on a bigger scale has hit the country. The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Hindukush Afghanistan region and Punjab and more cities are being recorded. The quake was felt in different parts of the country including the capital Islamabad.

There is no news about any destruction and everyone is safe in the Punjab area but Afghanistan is reporting some damage to the earth’s surface only.

The measure of the earth quake was 4.2 and these are the cities of Punjab that felt the earth quake.

Range of earthquake

  • 5.4 measuring of earth quake is recorded in Punjab Region while 5.6 is recorded in Balochistan region. The deepness of the earthquake was 32 kilometres recorded by quake measuring.

If we compare this with the 2019 earthquake which was the worst in recent memory. More than 8 million people were affected very badly, with over 1,200 killed. The earth quake was caused by heavy rains and by poorly constructed dams.
