  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 1 kg basmati rice
  • 1 quarter onion
  • Garlic ( crushed garlic 2 tablespoons)
  • Ginger ( also crushed ginger 2 tablespoons)
  • Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
  • Yogurt 1 kg
  • Mint
  • Oil
  • 2 to 3 green chilies
  • Biryani masala for example national biryani masala
  • Yellow color used for cooking purposes Or Zarda Rang.

Method to make one of the tastiest dishes of Pakistan, which is Chicken biryani

1) Listen to me now wash the rice properly and soak the rice in water for some time.

2) Then take a separate cooking pot and add some water. Don’t be confused about how much water is to be added. Because its quantity is unimportant, you add water by thinking that you need it to boil rice. Now put the pot on the fire.

3) Add salt according to taste and half a tablespoon of cumin seeds and mint leaves.
When water starts to boil now, add Basmati Rice in it.

4) When rice boil about 1/3 part, remove the pot from the fire and pass the rice from the sieve to remove all water.
Now put rice on the side because we will use it later.

5) Take another pot, put it on fire, add some oil, and chop the onion. You have to add and fry it until it turns brownish. When rice is getting brown color, spread that fried onion on paper. Now pay attention to another task. Take a small cup of tea, fill it with yogurt, and add biryani masala. It’s your choice, but l use National Biryani Masala. Now mix this masala in yogurt.

6) Have you remembered the oil in which you fry the onion? Yes! in the same oil, you have to add Ginger and Garlic, about two tablespoons, then fry the chicken in this oil.

7) Then add one cup of water to the chicken. When you feel that the meat is cooked, add that yogurt mixed with biryani masala. During this process, use gentle fire. When you think that the oil is separated from the chicken, put this pot away from the fire.

8) Now, take a new cooking pot. Add the oil separated from the chicken. Put that oil in the pool, add boiled rice, chicken curry, and some yellow color on rice available in stores especially used for cooking purposes. In order, we call it ” Zarda Rang .”Then put a piece of cloth on the rice. They also cover the rice with a potlid. Keep on a very gentle fire for 5 to 10 minutes.

9) Now put off the pot. You can enjoy chicken biryani. It is said by someone, “Eat well, keep well.”

Serve with Raita

It would help if you ate it with “Raita .”Now I will tell you how to make Raita. Take a bowl. Add some yogurt to it. Then add green chili and salt, according to your taste; mint. Crush before adding to yogurt. After adding in yogurt, take a gentle shake. Now Raita has prepared to use it with Chicken biryani.
